PA required for supporting sociable gentleman living with physical disabilities, SY12

Middle aged gentleman with physical disabilities looking for a compassionate, reliable and patient PA to support him with daily living tasks and maintaining his independence.
He is a very sociable person who enjoys going out & engaging with his local community.
He has a physical disability and uses a rollator at home, mobility scooter (to go onto bus/into town) and at times, a wheelchair, so experience of supporting others with physical disabilities would be advantageous.
The role would require support with personal care (showering, shaving & washing hair, but not with toileting), shopping and support with home based, pre-set physio exercises.
Possible additional support would include attending swimming sessions and medical appointments. Swimming sessions would include support with changing, showering, getting in and out of pool & possibly joining him in the pool (therefore, PA must be able to swim!). The PA would be required to travel in the car with the client driving, & at times be may be required to drive the clients car (insurance would be provided, at no cost to PA).
Flexibility with support for getting in and out of the car (with wheelchair use) would be helpful, as his needs are variable. However, he does have a good set up with a Motability adapted automatic car, plus a wheelchair.
Keeping family members informed of any additional support needs or concerns that arise would be expected.
DBS, x2 written references (one of which from most recent customer/employer), evidence of public liability insurance & self employed status (unique tax reference number) and written agreement of services to be provided with details of notice, would all be required. Payment would be via JCU.
