Personal Assistant Required – After School Support for 14 Year Old girl With Downs Syndrome- sy2
We are looking for a kind, reliable and proactive Personal Assistant to support our 14 year old daughter, who has Down’s syndrome. She is bubbly, sociable young lady who loves spending time with people who enjoy engaging, playing and helping her feel confident and comfortable.
Hours
Wednesday–Friday, 3:45pm–6:00pm (Regular weekly hours during term time)
Location
Tree Tops after school club sy2
Role Responsibilities
• Support her in accessing the setting safely
• Help her interact with other children
• Offering a low level of personal care (e.g., assistance with prompting, supervision, minimal support)
• Enable her to access the various acidities on offer such as craft, baking, role play and outdoor play.
• Supporting her independence where appropriate
Essential Requirements
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Warm, patient and child centred approach
• Reliability and good communication
• Experience with children or young people with additional needs is helpful but not essential if you are caring and willing to learn

Pay
£14:89 (gross) per hour.
