Kind and gentle PA needed for SY3 area.

I'm looking for a compassionate and gentle PA to help me leave the house and perform household tasks. I'm a wheelchair-user with a neurological condition and also have PTSD.

I get frightened very easily and need someone gentle and caring who will understand and make me feel safe. I have dissociative episodes and will need support during non-epileptic seizures.

I am twenty-eight and married. My husband manages my care, but I need more help to get out during the week to activities. Ideally, if I become comfortable with a PA, it would enable him to occasionally go into the office or have weekends with friends, which would require more hours of support.

I love the outdoors and would love help to access my garden. Help to plant flowers and care for them would be amazing as well. I would love support to get out on walks, including up Lyth Hill or at national trust properties.

Primarily, I need help to get out to the Shrewsbury Museum once a week where I am supported to volunteer. I also need help to get to therapy once a week.

I would also love support to cook and bake.

I enjoy reading, especially science fiction and fantasy, and love writing. I am currently working on the manuscript for a science fiction novel. I'm also passionate about Old and Middle English!

Hours per week – 4-8 hours a week, ideally on Thursday and Friday afternoons with some activities planned for other days. Extra hours may be required to allow my husband to plan trips away or get to the office

Hourly rate – Shropshire Council standard rates
