Support Worker Needed – Flexible Hours SY4

36 year old woman that loves dogs and all things art & crafty

I'm looking for someone to support me with:

Hair washing & showering & dressing (as needed).

Food prep, meals & drinks

Laundry

Medication reminders & filling my dosette box

Transport to hospital and other appointments

Accessing public places e.g. a shop, cafe

Occasional batch cooking and longer support blocks

Bed changes

Occasional help with stoma bag changes (when my hands aren't working properly)

Additional Info:

3 visits per day maybe 9.30am - 10.30am, 12-12.30, 4.15 - 4.45, with some flexibility for longer appointments or tasks

I'm able to mobilise independently around the house

I’m an ambulatory wheelchair user and need help getting the chair (14kg, folding) in/out of the house and car (fits in most car boots). I drive my own car

Must be comfortable around dogs – I have an assistance dog

Female preferred due to personal care support as part of the role

DBS checks and References required

Hours per week – TBC minimum of 10 hours per week

Hourly rate – Shropshire Council standard rates
