Self employed PA for stroke survivor – Whitchurch SY13

Opportunity to enrich a life in Whitchurch: Self-Employed Personal Assistant needed.

I'm a 49 year old male located in Whitchurch. I'm seeking a kind and understanding self-employed Personal Assistant to provide both practical personal care and meaningful social connection. If you have a genuine desire to help someone regain their zest for life right here in our community, this could be the perfect role for you.

Due to the aftermath of a major stroke, I am now housebound and live with several disabilities. These include speech and sight impairments, difficulties with learning and adapting, as well as challenges with balance, mobility, and significant fatigue.

Adult Social Care provides funding for four morning sessions each week (45 minutes) to assist with personal care, dressing, and breakfast. Additionally, there are two three hour social calls per week dedicated to supporting me in getting out and about and engaging with the Whitchurch community again.

These activities could include shopping trips, visits to the local swimming pool, spending time gardening, and preparing or baking food together. While longer walks aren't feasible, shorter strolls might be enjoyable using a powerchair.
