Self-Employed PA – Alternate Weekend Support in SY5 Area for Lady with Dementia

PA required urgently to cover the above hours to support an 82-year-old lady, at home who is living with dementia. She lives at home with her husband and son who has learning difficulties, who are an important aspect of her life.
The lady’s morning support takes an hour, to ensure that her personal care needs are met and that she is clean and comfortable in line with her overnight continence needs. Her bedding may need to be changed. The lady requires her breakfast to be prepared for her and to be administered her medications.
On alternate Saturday’s, the lady requires the same support as above and companionship / social support, which requires a skilled approach to ensure her cognitive needs are supported.
The evening support takes an hour, to ensure personal care & night time needs are met, taking up to bed & administered her medications.

The lady enjoys:
Watching James Martin & other cooking programmes, knitting, colouring, walks.

Hourly rate – £16.65-£20 Shropshire Council Direct Payments

Driving licence required – Yes
