PA support for a 26 year old man to go out and about and expand independent living skills. SY5

We are looking for a PA for our son who has some learning difficulties, is dyspraxic and suffers from anxiety. Part of the role is to help him with his independent living skills such as cooking, food planning & shopping, money management etc. as he would like to move to supported living. Support is also needed with planning journeys by public transport - working out new routes etc. Another part of the role is to assist him with social activities and get him out and about. He enjoys bowling, kicking around a football (including watching local matches), tennis (nothing skilled!), walking, pottering around shopping centres and cinema visits. He has a great sense of humour. Sadly his current PA is retiring from PA work.

Hours per week – Currently 4 hours pw. The times/days are negotiable.

Hourly rate – £12.21 if employed, £16.65 if self employed.

Area – Shrewsbury, Westbury/ Pontesbury/ Hanwood
