PA required to support male with Mental Health issues for SY2 area.

This request is for my Brother but for reasons that will become apparent I shall be dealing with all the applications and setting his PA up for him. He is a 62 year old who has had Mental Health issues for just over 40 years. He has lived in sheltered accommodation by himself for over 15 years. He is of gentle disposition and has a significantly deteriorating ability to speak. This combined with his Mental Health does make him quite difficult to understand at times, so I am looking for a calm, caring and patient PA to support him and his activities of present. Someone who has a strong background in dealing with Mental Health patients (Schizophrenia) will be a great attribute. He likes to watch TV and will listen to music, predominantly from the early to mid 80'S. His physical condition is poor and can't walk too far but I would love for him to regain some independence and go on trips around Shrewsbury, or wider, if he can be persuaded.
Some of the initial tasks would centre around weekly shopping trips, escorting for health appointments and going out for a pub meals. It would be great if he developed an interest in new hobbies/activities and more trips out. I think the right PA and a little encouragement will see him live life a little more than he does at present.
You would need to have your own car.
