Employed PA required to support 58 Year Old Man in Bridgnorth

Easy going and friendly 58-year-old man with a learning disability seeks a Personal Assistant to join a small team supporting him to live independently in Bridgnorth. His interests are music, sport and watching soaps on TV, being a very sociable individual he enjoys visiting coffee shops and an occasional beer at the pub.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, patient and a good communicator. You will be required to support with personal care, light housework, preparing meals and with social activities in the community.

The post will be 13 hours on Saturdays and Sundays over 2 shifts either 9am to 3pm or 3pm to 10pm.
With extra hours available to cover staff holidays.

The Rate of pay is £12.50 per hour for a 3 month probationary period increasing to £12.75 thereafter.

A full, clean driving license is essential and you will need business insurance. Mileage is paid at 45p a mile.

Experience or interest in learning disabilities is preferred.
