Autistic Adult, 33 Non Binary, looking for PA.

I'm looking for a PA/Support Worker to join my team. No personal care needed, no need for you to be a driver. LGBT+ friendly is a must. I also have pet rats who you'd need to be at least a little comfortable with, or open to - I can send photos on request they're very cute! If you're unsure on whether you'd be comfortable with pet rats, you'd be welcome to meet them before committing to anything :) 🐀

Pay is £12.21 an hour, I live in SY1 which would be where you'd usually work - although at times I'd want to meet you in the community.

I've got approx 6 hours a week available currently, although hours are subject to change. Overall I currently have a 31 hour care package, as well as three 10 hour sleep in nights, which are also paid hourly at £12.21. Sleep ins are usually covered by one of my PA's, but if she is on holiday or ill etc, there's an opportunity to work sleep ins as well. I have a spare room where PA'S doing a sleep in can sleep.

Hours are also flexible - I'd always have some hours available if you want them, but amount may vary - it's really dependent on what you and my other PA's want to and can work. It's a 0 hours contract.

Full holiday pay available.

Paid every 4 weeks.

I'm PDAuDHD, (autistic and ADHD with a pathological demand avoidance profile), and have Bipolar. I also have a genetic physical disability, and use a crutch or cane most of the time - very occasionally I use a wheelchair for longer trips.

I need help with prompting me to do tasks about the house - tidying/cleaning, making sure I remember to drink and eat, take my medication, etc. Helping me with bulk cooking food to put in the freezer. Social support at times - at events or going places. Help with admin - e.g.making calls, opening post, replying to emails, organising appointments etc.

Otherwise, my interests lie in music, gaming, creative writing, art/ craft, reading, and community action based in helping people - I've previously been active in the green party, campaign for disability rights, and try to give back to my community with mutual aid and volunteering.

I need help with sorting medication - this is all clearly written out by the other PA's, I can provide a short shadow shift if needed. :)
